    Well Stephen, it all depends on what you would like to do with your CAD software. Also, do you have any experience with CAD software or are you just starting out?
    SketchUp, TinkerCAD, Blender, FreeCAD and Sculptris are popular choices which are available for free.

    If you are looking for a professional CAD program, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D and SolidWorks are amongst the most known, but all come at a price.
