Ever Wondered What You Can Do With a 3D Printer?
Have you ever wondered what you can use a 3D printer for? Maybe you are considering buying a 3D printer but you aren’t sure if you’ll find enough practical uses for it? If so, I highly recommend watching the below video by Peter from Sweden. Peter owns an Ultimaker printer for over a year now and he has really put it to use in 3D printing practical items around his house.
In his video Peter takes the viewers on a tour of his house showing you all the spare parts and gadgets he has produced. Amongst others he printed:
- Camera mounts
- RC planes and helicopters
- Blind winders
- Covers for electrical panels
- Shower curtain rail brackets
- Lamp shades
- Name tags
- Cookie cutters
Quite an amazing collection! Certainly Peter has very good DIY skills (make sure to check out his Youtube channel!) and advanced 3D design skills but still I find that his video can serve as an inspiration to anyone who wants to get started in 3D printing. This is an excellent showcase of what you can achieve with a 3D printer today.
When I watched this video it gave me plenty of ideas for my next 3D printing projects. How about you? Did you also get inspired? What will your next 3D printing project be?
